Consistent versus intensity

February changed my life. When my mental health crisis hit its peak in May, the hospital stay forced different changes still.

And, here we are in mid July and I’m ramping up with my new personal trainers to run my first race in years.

The month of recovery from surgery put a hold on training. And, getting back to it, especially with an expanded OT routine to go along with PT program has greatly improved my mental health.

I have also been consistent with meds and my group therapy (as much as I don’t enjoy it) while I wait for my 1:1 appointments to start.

I’m tracking my meals and trying to hit macros. The next step is adding some supplements.  And increasing endurance.

Running/fast walking is starting to feel like me again. I love how my legs are remembering their strength and ability… and workouts are making a difference. I feel better even if nothing looks different yet.
