Mourning

I did not know RJ Mitte. I never saw his performance on Breaking Bad. But, he’s a brother in arms because he’s a visible person with cerebral palsy.

It hurts my heart that whatever battle he was facing, it took his mortality all too soon.

I struggle with suicidal thoughts. I feel the weight of always adjusting to the world around me. It isn’t easy and that’s with a pretty epic support system in place.

So, here’s my ask… check on the people in your life. Ask how they are doing and then listen, observe, and act based on what you see and hear.

I choose to live. That’s not an easy choice by any stretch of imagination. I just know that I’m not done yet.
