Missed Visits

Both birth mom and Dad canceled visits this morning… I think I’m more devastated for the kids than they are. Good thing I always believe in backup plans. We are off for a bike ride. this should be fun.

So, the bike ride went bust quickly. Instead, we went to the library and the kids found books to bring home. The 12 year old is on their visit with birth dad and the 7 yr old and I are hanging out at home.

It’s been an interesting morning… I can’t wait til I’m in the saddle at cyclebar so this weight on my shoulders can go away.
