Curveball Explained

About a year ago, my husband and I were arrested. There was a warrant/charges we knew nothing about. I have explained previously that our last foster placement ended quickly. These things came from that.

Anyway, we have been in and out of court for the better part of the year with continuance after continuance. We are finally coming to a conclusion of these proceedings.

We have been lucky to maintain our support system, income, and home, and have attorneys who can relate to our position. The people around us know that we did the best we could with the information we had at the time. My employer especially has been relatively easy to work with to have the time off and resources to deal with the various appointments.

The trial is happening this month. We are confident in our position. Our attorneys are confident in our case. But, the fact is we do not have any say over our future until the jury and/or judge exonerates us of wrongdoing.

So, now we need the faith of others beyond our immediate family/friends. Please send us your good thoughts, prayers, and whatever else so that we will be free from this and can continue our lives without the mark on our reputation.
