Uncertainty

I have stepped into the unknown in a few parts of my life and I am nervous.

We did our first session of marriage counseling today. My heart remains as open as it can be but my brain is cautious.

I need changes to last a lifetime.  Ya know? Cuz I’m only going to get more comfortable with who I am becoming and that is a queer, proud, flat chested, fit, woman… in the words to one of my favorite songs from RENT… take me baby or leave me.
