There isn’t an update, really. My surgery and my mental health declne and subsequent hospitalization and upcoming therapy means that the writing has taken a back seat.
Despite that though, I have a concept, a thesis statement, a blurb (to be shared soon), a working title and subtitle, and a direction that I’m taking the book in. That part was the hardest for me.
Outlining and writing the proposal and first draft will come with some ease. Especially now that I have my opening sentence.
“The world as she knew it ended the moment she saw him.”
My book will be a memoir of my life together with Justin. Drawing on what led us to be in Rexburg together at that time in our lives. And, how we have managed to stay together despite our very different world views on varying topics.
There will be stories from our life before becoming a family and the core moments of our life together. It will be my love letter to him after almost 30 years together.
