It’s become a tradition for me to go on a trip. Last year it was a solo trip. This year, we’re going together. It should be a blast.

Kindness Thursday
Popping up on my social media feed is the #kindness movement. Our team at work sometimes has trouble leading with kindness. It is indicative of the attitude of some of our leaders who have a hard time finding something positive to say about a subordinate. So today I took the concept of kindness Thursday intoContinue reading “Kindness Thursday”
Purpose
My feeds across all my media have been inundated with topics filled with dangers that are becoming more blatant in all of my communities. I will be raising my voice quite a bit around the areas that are critical to living my best life. First off, RFKs views on autism and (I suspect) other disabilitiesContinue reading “Purpose”
Return and Report
I missed a day of posting. I realized it just as I was dozing into the best night’s sleep I had in the past little bit. We learned this week that my brother has been arrested and is incarcerated while the wheels of justice turn. I’m sad that he is in this situation, but I’mContinue reading “Return and Report”
He Is Risen
Happy Easter. I spent the day in recovery mode because the first day of my weekly injection almost always resets my system with a clean out. I testify that because He rose on this day so many years ago, I will see my family again.

Often, when patients call in, they are anxious or frustrated, so part of my job is toContinue reading “Daily Encounters”
Prompt Day
Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow. A decision I made in the past, and one I continue to make today is to step beyond. Fear and how I perceived myself and the world around me would stop me cold in my tracks. It paralyzed me for yearsContinue reading “Prompt Day”
Home Sweet Home
My home stopped feeling like my home before we had to deal with court. It started to get better after I got my performance stationary bike and got my workouts in regularly. And then, we had someone ask for help. What was supposed to be temporary has lingered on for months, and now continues untilContinue reading “Home Sweet Home”
Motherly thoughts
I’ve been pregnant multiple times in my adulthood. I didn’t get to bring home my babies. I love my kids, I hope I get to meet them someday. The very first thing I will do is take each one in my arms and hug them and tell them that they were loved and longed for.Continue reading “Motherly thoughts”
