I’m on the tail end of recovery from my surgery. I expect I’ll reach my MMI (maximum medical improvement) this coming week. I’ll meet with the surgeon once more before returning to work. Not sure I’m ready for that.
If I prepare over the next few weeks, I will walk back into work with joy and be ready for everything at the office. While I’m home, I will:
- Set my alarms for my work schedule
- Practice sitting at my desk so I can increase my stamina
- Adhere to my evening routine and sleep 9 hours on my work schedule
- Meal prep
At the same time, I am laying the foundation for the first draft of my book. The exhaustion and brain fog lifted. I can resume studying the masterclasses and homework from TBA. Once that is done, I’ll be in a good position to get the writing from my brain to the screen.
Preparing for the next steps in life is a second language for me. I learned a long time ago that every minute of prep leads to less frustration and ‘failures’ later on. So, that’s my mission for the next 12 days.
