What we are witnessing is not okay. Law-abiding citizens using their constitutional rights to help their neighbors should not be sacrificing their lives. This morning, after resting as much as my body would allow, I wrote to both of the Senators from my state.
I implore you to do the same. You can find the contact information for your Senators at the US Senate website. There are better ways to go about the mission tasked to this organization than what we are currently witnessing.
In other news, today is the first meeting with The Book Academy. I am so excited to start my journey to be a published author. I am still raising the funds for tuition to the program. If you can help, that would be amazing. The funds raised will also help in my planned time off from work to recover from surgery. (I will share more at another day and time)
