We started the trek back home. Currently in the car for the longest part of the trip. It was a good trip.
We went to the wedding of our granddaughter’s parents. I did not take the opportunity to give a toast. If I had, this is what I would’ve said:
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be here to witness the formal unification of your family. We see the love and bond that you share and we are blessed to have our granddaughter be raised in an atmosphere where love abounds on all sides. We look forward to watching your family grow and to be part of your life.
