What strategies do you use to increase comfort in your daily life?
Adding comfort to my life is done when I take time to move my body.
Stagnation is the loss of mobility, independence, and eventually death. So exercise, my PT regimen, and regular wellness visits are crucial to my comfort.
To help with movement, I wear my AFO and splints. They are key to moving with proper form and injury prevention.
Equally important is my mental health. Which I take care of by not doing a damn thing that I don’t want to do. I protect my peace at all costs.
The last thing I do to add comfort is to dress comfortably. I’ll take a suit over a dress any day of the week and my dress often has shorts or leggings underneath because when I’m comfortable, I’m confident, and when I’m confident I do my best work in every aspect of my life.
