I didn’t find anything to write the last couple of days, and I didn’t want to force anything out. So, I took the time to reflect the last couple of days.
Work is going well. I hate that we are expected to do more than we were previously but, it is benefiting patients so, it’s a good change overall.
Home life is getting better, we had to say goodbye to our senior dog last week. We are finding our new normal. Our home is our own again as my cousin left a few weeks ago, and will not be returning ever again.
I bought an electric trike this week, this week is going to be a time to test it out and make sure it’s going to be suitable to commute to work with.
Are there any mindfulness/spiritual practices that you do currently? Why, or why not?
The biggest mindfulness practice I have is this blog. The second one is my daily gratitude practice. My third one is my movement practice.
Writing on this blog helps to use my voice and share my perspective. I try to write things that will add to my history. That people can read and know me.
My gratitude practice gives me perspective. Even in the darkest of my moments, there is something to be grateful for.
Exercise brings my body and mind peace. Physical peace because movement is the antidote to a lot of my CP symptoms. And, mental/emotional peace because the time allows me to go inward and process the feelings that come with events of life.
