What sacrifices have you made in life?
I don’t like to think of my choices as sacrifices. Even the things I don’t have that I thought I would have were from choices I made intentionally or from inaction.
Our main sacrifice is the distance (physical and emotional) from family members. We built our lives far away from all of it, and for the most part, they have left us out of major moments in their lives.
Out of sight, out of mind, I guess.
