Sabbath Day

I stayed home from church with a bad allergy attack. On my mind, today was how I can draw closer to Christ in my life that isn’t a cliché answer.

What came to my mind was being consistent. Consistent in my thoughts, words, and actions.

What that looks like in the realm of my spiritual relationships is building a habit of mindful prayer and meditation.  So, starting tonight, I’m going to take 10 minutes and say a prayer of gratitude and appreciation. And, in the morning before leaving for work… I’ll do a mindfulness meditation to set my intentions and invite inspiration from God into my thoughts.
