It’s a conference weekend at church. Generally, that’s the weekend where we gather and hear from people from our region. It’s been a minute since I’ve been to a local conference.
Why? There is no in between for me. I am the same person outside of church as I am when I walk into the building. I wish I could say the same for people around me. I have little patience for people who don’t call/text/connect with me during the week but act like I am their best friend when they see me on Sunday.
Instead of sitting on an uncomfortable bench and having to people and biting my tongue, I’m at home on my chair, watching “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and cuddling with my fur babies.
It’s Holy Week in the Christian world. Christ entered Jerusalem to complete his earthly ministry. This year, Passover and the Holy Week overlap. It feels extra special to me when the two overlap.
I will spend the week reflecting on the events of the Holy Week and bring things in my life closer to Christ.
