Work. I learned to work for the things I wanted. From the essential day to day activities all the way down to the things that make life worth living.
I love exercise and movement. And, I found the things that bring us (my husband joins me a lot of the time), confidence, strength, and unadulterated joy.
We’ve seen so much of the country and a bit of the world, which makes our perspective have a lot of empathy and understanding.
Our quality of life only improved as I learned to advocate for myself and ask the right questions.
