Day 21 — Health/Fitness Update

In June, I found Studio Sweat On Demand. I have regularly worked out with them over the last 6 months.

A few months ago, I stepped up to be a Wellbeing Champion at work. Basically, I help my department be better about taking care of themselves and utilize all their resources to do it.

For the last year, I’ve been getting my health in line. My diabetes is well managed. My quality of life with CP is so much improved thanks to OT, PT, and quarterly injections.

The next step for me is to dial in nutrition and strength training. Enter Jason. I saw a few of his videos in my newsfeed, and I liked his style and approach to things. So, I signed up. I did my first strength training workout last night, and even with my modifications, every muscle group is sore. And, his sample recipes are killer. I’m going to eat well.
