We were supposed to be witnesses to a wedding this past Saturday. Instead, we were subjected to verbal abuse, and the efforts we put in were completely ignored and unappreciated.

On the upside, we got some quality time with people we do not get to see very often.
This week, I get to start my new responsibilities at work. And despite the frustration of the weekend, getting away from my norm was perfect.
