For the last few months, I’ve been working out with a personal trainer. We just had our last session until school starts again… and I’m sitting here a day later in a profound state of gratitude to my trainer/friend/sister.
My gains:
- strength on my weak side.
- more range of motion than I previously noticed.
- more weight lifted than ever in my previous training history.
- grip strength improvement.
- nutrition improvement.
- opportunities to share my story.
- a person who believes in me more than I sometimes believe in myself.
- another sister of my heart.
This summer as she takes some much-needed time with her family, I will be working on my nutrition and when we meet again, it’ll be time to level up yet again.
