March Check In

I’m alive… in case you were wondering.

This month threw some surprises at us. 2 of our boys were reunited with family a lot sooner and by complete shock to all involved. After the caseworker explained the reasoning, I’m hoping it goes well. Our other boy’s case plan is once again delayed. So, he gets to be with us a little bit longer. We do not yet know what that will look like… but I’m glad I don’t have to say goodbye to everyone all at once. My heart just can’t take that much change all at once.

I hit my 500 ride milestone at Cyclebar. It was taught by my 2 favorite instructors and will be a ride that is truly written on my heart as a favorite memory. Just a few days later another instructor that I work with outside of the studio wanted me to be present in her next ride the following day. So, I did… and heard the best news. She’s making me an honorary aunt (well me and the rest of our Cyclebar community).

I completed a certification this month. I am now CPR trained and a certified med tech (able to pass medications). I’m working on one more this semester and then assuming all goes well with the kids in my home… will be able to return to work.

My personal training is going well.
My health coaching is keeping me out of my comfort zone and giving me tools to level up my life.
