After my husband got home from Texas, we decided that we were ready to take another placement. So, we emailed our personal caseworker and within minutes of the email we had 2 calls both looking for placements. We said no to one because it didn’t seem like a good fit. We said yes to the second and he will arrive this afternoon. It’s a 6 year old boy. He’s having trouble adjusting to the reality of his situation. I honestly don’t know how a 6 year old wouldn’t have trouble with his reality. I hope we are able to help and our home will be a refuge for him as mom works on what she needs to work on.
