Some wins

I’ve been working in a book: “Strength In Being” put out by my amazing friend, Genevieve. It’s got me setting up a morning and evening routine that is doing wonders for my inner peace each day. Also, it’s giving me the opportunity to create intentional changes that are directing the future of this site.

This site is still in its infancy…. but I have some lofty goals. Stay tuned and keep checking back.

Other wins this week:

  1. I have completed 4 of 6 days at cyclebar this week. I feel confident on the bike to leave the saddle at most intervals. And, I’m pushing limits I didn’t even know I had,,, like wearing shorts instead of leggings.
  2. I received my BOD order and I’m going to start Monday on major nutrition and recovery changes that can help level up my game even more.
  3. I have completed my (hopefully) last major follow up dr. appointment since my ER visit & COVID reaction. I won’t get the results for 7 days, so think good healthy thoughts.
  4. I am down almost 9 lbs. since my last weight check.
  5. I have my ring splints back, so my grip is back to baseline which means I can do my OT with more consistency than I have.
  6. Plus, the AFO I bought from Amazon works well in my sneakers and I’m able to walk / ride my street bike with it. I haven’t tried it at cyclebar yet, but consistent wearing everywhere else has helped tremendously with my muscle memory.
  7. Kids are doing well. They laugh and smile. I have several pages of this site in draft form that i’m working on getting ready to publish.
  8. I’m sleeping well. Better than I do most summers. I’m totally giving the credit to certain people who are asking me hard questions that are catalysts to the changes. (Y’all know who you are).
  9. My son called this week and we had a good visit.
