An about page and introduction are forth coming. But tonight our family was thrust into the foray of parenthood again as we were called upon to be foster parents to a sibling set of 2.
It has been 2 years in the making, and 7 years of waiting until my heart healed from the trauma of my son’s actions to be ready to take up this mantle again. Here we are… the adventure awaits.
Day 1 included some tears (as expected). But, it ended in laughter and games. This may be a quick stay for these kids, but I’m going to do my best to make good memories with them. I think we’re off to a good start.
